News: In March 2024, the project team hosted the Advancing R1 Teaching Faculty for Undergraduate Learning (ARTFUL) Conference at Rice University, which convened eight R1 institutions to discuss the promotable teaching faculty role and identify opportunities for collaboration through a Networked Improvement Community. The participating institutions were Duke University, University of Kansas, Northwestern University, Rice University, The University of Texas at Austin, University of Arizona, University of Houston, and University of Massachusetts at Amherst.
